AR Activated Art

Augmented Reality Coming March 2026

Tesseract AR  will make its public debut at Jeff Bezos’ MARS Conference in March 2026, unveiling the next evolution of my world-famous infinity-mirror sculpture. This new version expands the original Tesseract with an interactive augmented-reality layer that reveals hidden dimensional geometry through AR headsets and a mounted 360° camera. Event attendees can virtually step inside the sculpture, move through shifting reflections, and use the Augmented Reality interface to unlock fractal overlays, alternate viewpoints, and higher-dimensional structures mapped in real time. Tesseract AR transforms the sculpture into a living, reactive gateway—an immersive journey into light, perception, and the unseen fourth dimension.

Hyper Tesseract Art Installation

Hyper Tesseract is the sister installation to Tesseract sharing the same dimensions but a more intricate evolution of the original Tesseract, featuring a cube‑within‑a‑cube-within-a-cube configuration that visually represents fifth dimensional higher‑dimensional space. The layered mirror geometry includes 34 precisely arranged mirrors and dense LED programming produces a deeper, more complex illusion of infinite recursion. This piece is designed as a statement installation for festivals and events seeking a visually striking, next-next‑level centerpiece. While Tesseract  represents a fourth-dimensional form, Hyper Tesseract pushes further—suggesting a dimension that cannot be fully seen, only felt. As viewers move around the piece, the geometry appears to reconfigure itself, producing a hypnotic, kaleidoscopic effect that changes with perspective and proximity. The result is an experiential meditation on complexity, emergence, and interconnectedness. Hyper Tesseract will be debuted at Jeff Besos’ MARS Conference in March 2026.

Ascension Art Installation

Ascension is an 8-foot mirrored pyramid crafted from infinity mirrors, and serves as an immersive kaleidoscope. It expands beyond its physical form through augmented reality and immersive 360° capture. While the sculpture itself creates the illusion of infinite vertical depth through reflection and light, the AR layer allows viewers to virtually step inside the pyramid and explore its interior from within. Using a inside mounted 360° camera and Augmented Reality headsets, participants experience intricate geometric patterns, luminous pathways, and evolving visual structures mapped in real time. Ascension AR transforms the pyramid into a portal—bridging physical presence and virtual immersion, and inviting viewers into a meditative journey of elevation, perception, and transformation. fractalized, creating a dynamic display of light and color. The installation invites exploration, allowing each viewer to shape their own unique visual experience within its reflective depths.

The Portal Art Installation

The Portal is a large-scale, human-activated kaleidoscope that invites participants to step inside geometry itself. Designed and built as a collaboration between celebrated large scale installation artists Johnny Crash and Nicky Alice in 2019. Formed from a mirrored dodecahedron and illuminated by 15,000 LEDs, the installation responds to light, movement, wind, and sun—transforming viewers into living components of an ever-shifting pattern. Inside, a human-sized mirrored shaft and infinity-mirrored star tetrahedron create a fully immersive experience where perception dissolves into reflection.

Originally brought to Burning Man through community-driven effort, The Portal became a beloved space of wonder and play. After being destroyed in the 2024 North Carolina flood, the project now has plans to return as a symbol of resilience and rebirth. More than an artwork, The Portal is a testament to the power of art to heal, connect, and remind us that even after loss, light finds its way back through reflection.
