48″ Tesseract — Museum-Grade Infinity Mirror Sculpture

$111,000.00

A Tesseract is to the cube what the cube is to the square — at this scale, that concept becomes an environment made for a museum.

Composed of 20 precisely arranged pieces of specialty mirror and glass and powered by 1540 individually mapped LED pixels, the 48″ Tesseract is the flagship expression of the series — a museum-grade sculpture designed to command space with presence, precision, and dimensional depth.

This work materializes the projection of a four-dimensional cube into our physical world, generating a vast recursive field where light folds endlessly into itself. At 48 inches, the experience transcends object form — it becomes architectural, establishing a living field of geometry and light that reshapes the atmosphere around it.

The internal structure expands with extraordinary clarity and stability, allowing each reflection to resolve with greater depth and continuity. The result is not simply an illusion of infinity, but a constructed dimensional space — a visual system that feels both infinite and controlled, immersive yet exact.

Created by Nicky Alice, the first and only artist to bring the Tesseract into physical form (first realized in 2018), each sculpture is handcrafted using artist-developed, patent-pending mirror systems and specialty mirror glass engineered specifically for large-scale dimensional precision. Every component is individually fabricated and assembled by hand — a process that demands exceptional control, alignment, and discipline at this scale.

From the exterior, the work presents as a perfect cube — minimal, intentional, and refined. Internally, it unfolds into a luminous architecture of infinite recursion, revealing a hidden geometry that appears to extend far beyond its physical boundaries.

This scale introduces a level of complexity, risk, and craftsmanship that places the work firmly within high-level private collections and institutional environments. It is not designed to complement a space — it is created to define it.

The 48″ Tesseract has been exhibited internationally at major cultural and artistic platforms, including:
Burning Man, Art Basel (Beyond Basel), Portland Winter Light Festival, Lightning in a Bottle, Texas Eclipse, Maker Faire Bay Area, Mayan Warrior Los Angeles, Cyclops Cove, and select private exhibitions from Paris Hilton to Jeff Bezos.

Technical Features:

  • 20 precision mirror and glass components
  • 5×5′ foot print, 64″ height, has custom cover
  • Specialty mirror glass engineered by the artist
  • 1540 individually mapped LED pixels
  • Fully programmable custom LED control system
  • Full smartphone app integration
  • Advanced dynamic lighting with deep color control
  • LED lifespan: 20,000–30,000 hours

This is not a product. Unlike plastic imitations that have followed this design, each Tesseract is a gallery-grade original sculpture, entirely hand fabricated. No replication, no shortcuts — only precision-built dimensional architecture.

Each piece is:

  • Individually signed
  • Hand numbered
  • Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity

This work is offered as a flagship acquisition — a singular presence within a collection, designed for those who value rarity, authorship, and the ability of art to transform space into experience.

To stand before the 48″ Tesseract is to encounter a controlled manifestation of infinity — where light, geometry, and perception converge into a single, immersive form.
